Surat: A 25-year-old homeopathy practitioner died by suicide after poisoning herself at Lake Garden in Katargam on Thursday evening. Police are probing the circumstances surrounding her death amid reports of marital discord.Janvi Ashok Vaghela, from Talala in Gir Somnath district, was living with her parents at Lakshminarayan Apartments on Ashwinikumar Road in Varachha.She had married a medical practitioner from Bhavnagar eight months ago. According to police, differences cropped up between the couple after about six months of marriage. Janvi returned to her parents’ home two months ago.Police said she went to Lake Garden in Katargam on Thursday evening, where she allegedly took poison.Her brother was informed and rushed to the spot. He took her to a nearby hospital, but she died during treatment.Janvi had completed her BHMS degree before her wedding. Katargam police registered an unnatural death and started an inquiry to ascertain the circumstances that led to her death.
