Surat: A domestic dispute in Bhatha village turned fatal evening when a 31-year-old woman allegedly stabbed her husband with a potato peeler during a quarrel on Tuesday evening, leading to his death and her arrest by Ichhapore police.Police said Manisha Rathod and her husband, Raju Yadav, both 31, got into an argument after Yadav returned from work which escalated to Yadav allegedly assaulting Rathod.Rathod picked up a potato peeler to defend herself and stabbed Yadav. He collapsed soon after suffering the injury.Yadav was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. A forensic postmortem confirmed that he died due to injuries caused by a sharp weapon.During interrogation, Rathod confessed to stabbing her husband, police said. The couple had been living in Bhatha village for eight years.
