Surat: History-sheeter Kirti Patel was booked in yet another case on Thursday. This time, Surat trader Alpesh Patel filed a complaint at Laskana police station, alleging that Kirti Patel abused and defamed him and his wife on Instagram.She was booked under Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita Section 352 for intentional insult to provoke a breach of peace. Alpesh alleged that Kirti called him on Instagram on November 4 and abused him, using objectionable language against him. Kirti also allegedly circulated a post on social media to defame Alpesh Patel. Kirti Patel has been lodged in Vadodara jail since Surat police invoked PASA against her on Nov 7.
