Times News NetworkSurat: Inspector General of Police (Surat Range) Prem Vir Singh has appointed four law officers to strengthen legal coordination for police cases across south Gujarat.The appointments include Kalpesh Bhabhre for Surat city, Ashwin Jogadiya for Surat rural, Suresh Kathiriya for Valsad, and Ravindra Dhamde for Tapi-Vyara.The law officers will advise investigating officers and public prosecutors on legal matters, ensure that key legal issues are effectively presented before courts, and strengthen the government’s representation in criminal cases. They will handle matters pertaining to district and city police before trial courts, the Gujarat High Court and the Supreme Court.The appointments were made following interviews conducted by a committee headed by the IGP.
