Surat: Among the city’s top performers in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2026, Sanvi Zaveri emerged as one of the leading girls, securing 99.91 percentile and an All India Rank (AIR) of 1414. A student of PP Savani School, Sanvi prepared for the exam through coaching at her school and avoided using a mobile phone to minimise distractions during her studies.The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the JEE Main 2026 results on April 20, and students from Surat once again delivered an impressive performance. Two students from the city secured ranks within the top 200, while several others scored above the 99 percentile.Niraj Partani achieved AIR-111 with 99.9956 percentile. He credited his success to disciplined preparation, dedicating about six quality hours daily to his studies. Another student, Shaurya Khemka, secured AIR-179 with 99.9926 percentile. Shaurya said that consistent study habits and solving previous-year question papers played a key role in his performance.Both Niraj and Shaurya study at RMG Maheshwari School and had also enrolled at a private coaching institute in Surat. They now aspire to pursue Computer Science from a reputed Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) after clearing JEE Advanced.Another city student, Jinit Bhalala of Jay Ambe School, also performed well, securing AIR-1450 with 99.92 percentile.
