Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) has organised the three-day Energy Power Electrical Expo 2026, beginning Feb 6, at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana. Bihar governor Arif Mohammad Khan will be the guest of honour at the inaugural event on Friday.The expo is being held under the theme ‘Powering the Future – Today’, with a focus on green energy, smart infrastructure and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.Sharing details of the event, SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said the expo aims to promote comprehensive development of the energy, power and electrical sectors. “This is not merely an exhibition but a platform for advanced technology, innovative products and sustainable solutions. Our objective is to create an effective bridge between government policies, PSU capabilities and industrial innovation,” he said.SGCCI vice-president Ashok Jirawala said a total of 60 exhibitors from across the country are participating, of which 65% are manufacturers and 35% are traders and distributors.
