Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) has organised three major exhibitions — the Food & Beverages Expo, SGCCI Global Village, and the Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition (WEE) — to be held from Jan 24 to 26 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre (SIECC), Sarasana. Anar Patel, president of the Khodaldham Trust, will inaugurate the exhibitions on Saturday. SGCCI president Nikhil Madrasi said the event will see the participation of several national and international dignitaries.A total of 156 exhibitors from Surat and other cities, including Pune, Nashik, Raipur, Haryana, and various parts of Gujarat, will take part in the Food & Beverages Expo. The exhibition will showcase a wide range of sectors, including food processing equipment and machinery, packaging machinery and materials, cold chain equipment, refrigeration appliances, warehousing and cargo handling services, food testing laboratories, as well as dried and frozen foods, bakery items and grocery products.The SGCCI Global Village exhibition will feature exhibitors from Dubai, Australia, Japan, Thailand and Afghanistan. Dubai-based exhibitors will showcase real estate and tourism opportunities, Australian participants will offer visa processing and counselling services, Afghan exhibitors will display dry fruits, spices and carpets, Thai companies will present health, beauty and FMCG products, while Japanese firms will showcase logistics and courier services.Meanwhile, the Women Entrepreneurs Exhibition (WEE) will feature stalls by more than 110 women entrepreneurs from diverse business segments, including health products, consumer durables, ready-made garments, fashion and fitness equipment, skincare and healthcare products, handloom and handicrafts, dress materials, traditional wear and sarees.
