Surat: A woman constable hanged herself in her quarters in the Police Colony in Bharuch on Thursday. The deceased, Priti Parmar, 28, was posted with the local intelligence bureau (LIB) of Bharuch police.According to police, she left a suicide note in which she sought forgiveness from her parents.As she did not spell out a reason or person responsible for her extreme step, Bharuch police began an investigation into what may have led her to take the step. Investigators will check her call detail records (CDR) and take statements from her colleagues.Police will also send her phone for forensic analysis. Parmar was from Bhavnagar and had been in the police department for five years.
