Poem Collection 3
| Knock at Door | Hop a Little |
| Knock at the door, peep in, Pull the latch and walk in. Take a chair, sit down there Say good-morning, Teddy bear. |
Hope a little, jump a
little, one, two, three Run a little, skip a little, tap one knee Bend a little, stretch a little, nod your head Yawn a little, sleep a little in your bed. |
| The Zoo | Tooth Brush |
| It's so much fun in the
city, There is such a lot to do, But best of all I think I like The animals in the zoo. There are lions, tigers and black bears. And elephants you know, As long. as they are in a cage, I'm not afraid to go. |
I have a tooth-brush neat
and gay, To brush my teeth with everyday; I brush them each morning, I brush them each night Till all are shining, Clean and bright. |
| Washing Day | After Bath |
| Washing day, washing day, Mother rubs the clothes this way , Rub-a-dub, rub-a-dub, Up and down inside the tub. |
After a bath I try, try, try To wipe myself till I'm dry, dry, dry. Hands to wipe and fingers and toes, And two wet legs and a shiny nose. |
| The Clock | My Jack in the Box |
| Tick-tock, tick-tock. Merrily sings the clock. It's time for work, It's time for play, So it sings throughout the day, Tick-tock-tick-tock Merrily sings the clock. |
My jack in the box Springs up, up, up. My jack in the box Goes round, round, round. My jack in the box Falls flop, flop, flop. When I closed the lid With a plop, plop, plop. |
| Bells | What can I do ? |
| Let us ring the bi-cycle
bell , Ting-a ling-a ling. Let us ring the school bell, Ding Dong, Ding Let us ring the fire bell, Clang, Clang, Clang. Let us ring the sleigh bell Jingle, Jingle, Jang. |
Two little hands go, Clap, clap, clap Two little feet go, Tap, tap, tap ; Two little eyes are open wide, One little head goes side to side. |
| A hunting We Will Go | I hear Thunder |
| Oh ! A hunting we will go. A hunting we will go We'll catch a fox, And put him in a box. And never let him go. |
I hear thunder I hear thunder Oh ! don't you ? O ! don't you ? Pitter, Patter raindrops, Pitter, Patter raindrops, I'm wet through, I'm wet through. |
