INTERVIEW
What important lessons have
you learnt in the course of training for Miss India? How has the
training helped you?
I've learnt to be
myself, to say what I mean and answer questions with full
conviction, and to be simple and smart at the same time. The
training has helped me become a better individual.
What part of the training did you enjoy the most? Your toughest
moment at the training was…
I enjoyed each and
every moment of my training because each session taught me something
different. It was an experience of a lifetime.
Your days (till
the pageant is over) are divided between…
The training days
were divided into classes on - physical fitness, speech and diction,
Art of Living, ramp-walk, stage performance, emotion control,
appreciation of Indian art, music and dance, make-up sessions, diet
and skin are, grooming and etiquette, talk with professionals like
Mahesh Bhatt, Karan Johar, Natasha Malhotra etc.
What got you
interested in FMI. How did you go about getting into it?
I always wanted to be
part of the glamour world and interact with professionals who belong
to this world and learn from their first-hand experiences, and
thereby ready myself for entering into the world of glamour. I sent
my pictures to 'The Times of India' and got selected.
Who do you
consider your benchmark/idol?
My idol is my father.
How's the
competition/competitors. What tricks are you going to pull to come
ahead?
All the competitors
are trying their level best to go ahead of the other. I would be
playing no tricks as such, but I will portray who I am and not try
to be someone else. Because we all have distinct personalities, and
each one of us is special.
Can you spell the rules of the game…
The rules of the game
are - to be specific and brief and just be yourself!
What is that one
special quality that you possess and that would give you an edge
over others?
My confidence and a
positive attitude towards life.
How important is
winning the crown to you. And if you don't, will you try for it
again?
Winning the crown has always been my dream, so if I can dream I can
achieve it too.
Suppose you win
the crown, what is that one thing that you would do to make a
difference to this world?
I would like to make
people realise the importance of peace and harmony and that by
working hand in hand this world can become a better place to live
in.
What is your
eventual goal in life?
I am aiming for the
Femina Miss India crown, and once I've reached there then many doors
and opportunities will open for me.
What's your Sun Sign/ sex-appeal?
My sun sign is
Aquarius and my sex-appeal is my green eyes.
