Sajid Wajid have given music for Shararat starring Abhishek Bachchan and Hrishita Bhatt. The lyricist is Sameer.

The album starts off with Dil Kehta Hai by Sonu Nigam. The song has got some good music in the starting. Sonu Nigam's voice is great as usual. Lyrics are good too.

The duet of the millennium, Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik team up once again for Ek Ladki Mujhe. This song has got some slow and romantic music for the ears. Sonu Nigam & Alka Yagnik's voice is good too. They score another with this song. This song will reach the top 5 in the Bollywood Countdown soon. Lyrics are as usual good.

Kuch Tum Kaho by Sonu Nigam is the next song in line. The song starts with some good music. A really slow song and Sonu Nigam's voice is the only factor that makes the song good. Music is not bad. Lyrics could've been improved a bit. Sonu's tune for the song is nice.

K.K. tags along with Sonu Nigam for Mehki Hawaaon Mein. It's a fast song. The lyrics don't suit the tune and music is a bit vague. The only good factor of the song is the tune of Sonu & K.K. Anyway, probably with some fast music it will shine in the album.

Yeh Mein Kahan starts of with Sonu Nigam's soothing voice. Some detective kind of music and looks like someone is lost or got stuck somewhere. Hariharan and Anupama join in the song. They both have a good voice. Lyrics could've improved a bit.

Mastana Albela has a long list of singers. The list consists of Hariharan, Arvinder Singh, Saud Khan, Mahitosh, Upendra Sharma, Sarfaraz Khan, Sanjeevni Bhelende, Shraddha Pandit, Sneha Pant & Wajid Khan. Pretty big, right? Okay, the song is not that good. It's okay. Lyrics are fine. Music could've been improved a lot. The song wont do well. It should've been a bit better.

The last song is Talat Aziz's Na Kisi Aankh Ka. The song is as everyone would assume, a ghazal. Nice one. Good lyrics are nice music.

In the end, the songs of Shararat are pretty good. Sajid Wajid did a good job by signing in Sonu Nigam for most of the songs. Really good songs and lyrics are good. The Mastana Albela song could've been improved a bit by reducing the singers list and signing in a well-known singer. Okay, Hariharan is there. But, someone better would do. In the end, the album is a must-buy and it's worth it.
