RASMISE ALOO MATAR

6"-7" round, 4"-5" deep dish
1 cup shelled peas (matar)
1 poeato - cut into '/z" cubes (small even cubes) 

2 medium onions - minced (chopped very finely) 

2-3 flakes garlic - chopped finely
1/2 " piece ginger - chopped finely 

3 tbsp oil
1/4 tsp haldi
1/2 - 1 tsp red chilli powder 2 tsp dhania powder
1/2 tsp garam masala powder
2 large tomatoes - ground to a puree 1 tsp salt
1 tbsp coriander leaves - chopped

 

 

1. ln a deep dish, micro high uncovered oil, onion, ginger & garlic for 4 minutes. 

2. Add haldi powder, dhania powder, garam masala powder, red chilli powder. Mix well. 

3. Add tomato puree. Mix well. Micro high uncovered 6 minutes. Stir once in between. 

4. Add shelled peas, potatoes and 1 cup water. Mix well. 

5. Micro high covered 5-7 minutes or till potatoes become soft. 

6. Add salt and coriander leaves. 

7. Micro high 1 minute. 

8. Let stand 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
