GAJAR KA HALWA - [ Dessert ]

Serves 5-6

10" round, 5" deep dish

1/2 kg carrots - grated

1-2 chhoti illaichi - powdered 1 and half  cups milk

1 and half cup sugar - powdered

1 and half cup (100 gms) khoya - grated 2-3 tbsp desi ghee

some chopped nuts like almonds, raisins (kishmish) etc.

 

1. Mix grated carrots, milk & illaichi.
2. Micro high uncovered 15 minutes. Stir once after 5-7 minutes.
3. Add.powdered sugar & khoya. Mix well.
4. Micro high 10 minutes uncovered.
5. Add ghee. Mix well. Micro high covered 7 minutes.
6. Mix chopped nuts. Serve hot decorated with nuts.
