Chintamani Jain Temple 
The jain temple was constructed during the regime of Mugal Emperor Aurangzeb. Many controversies exist as regards to its establishment. As per One school's openion , it was established in the year 1645 while as per the others it was established in the year 1699. It is located at Muglisara near Mausoleleum of Mirjan Shami. It has not only religious importance but also established one of the best example of craftsmanship & drawing of Gujarat. Though the temple is marked by its outward simplicity, the inner parts of temple is a treasury of art.
 
Mausoleum of mirjan shami Mirjan Shami was converted Muslim. He was chief of army of Khudawand Khan. He was killed in the year 1559-60 by Garsia, the governor of Daman. His dead body was brought to Surat and buried besides the tomb of Khudawand Khan. The tomb is situated in heart of city. Muglisara-Variavi Bazar. It was Constructed in Indo-Iranian style. The carvings on its pillars reflected an unique combination of art hindu and jain sculptures.
 
Indoor Stadium
SMC has completed the construction of indoor stadium recently with a total outlay of 21 crores. The stadium is built up primary with a view to give impetus to the growth of indoor sport. It has total sitting capacity of 7000 spectators. It is an ideal symbols of modern 
architectural techniques.
 
Dutch Armenium Graveyard 
Dutch Graveyard is located at Katargam. Armenium Graveyard is situated near by. Various graves of different sizes and styles represented notable architectural art. Among the leading graves, the graves of the director of Dutch East India Company Barne Henry Audrin Varn Rid is important one. It is marked by beautiful columns , balconies , carved ceiling & carved wooden windows.
 

SMC Building
Mogal Emperor Shahjahan has constructed this historical monument in the year 1644. Initially it was utilised as residence of Officer and Foreign tourist. the freedom fighters of 1857 were jailed over here. In the year 1867 the offices of municipal corporation was shifted there and since then it is used as an office of Surat municipal corporation.
 

Ambika Niketan Temple 
The temple was built in the year 1969 by respected Devotee Late Smt. Bharti Maiya. It is a temple of Ashtabhuj Ambika Godess. It also has other mini temples of famous Hindu Lords, Rama, Laxman, Sita, Laxmi Narayan, Lord Shiva etc. It is constructed at the bank of river Tapi.
 
Arebic University
Modern Arabic University is established by Dr. Mohammed Burhanuddin with a twin motives of mould man in to human being and ideal students into ideal citizens of tomorrow. The construction is marked by modern techniques coupled with peculiar Vohra culture. Many students from various part of country and abroad come here for higher studies.
 
Narmad Library
It has been up in the memory of famous Gujarathi poet Narmad in the year 1991 at ghoddod road one of the poshed localities of modern Surat city. It has a wealthy collection of 150000 books. The library has different sections like reading room, reference room, adult section and children section. The library is surrounded by beautiful Garden.
 
Sir JJ Training College
Sir JJ training college at present at located opposite to surat fort in chowk bazar It was basically an English government School was established in the year 1842 with the help of parsi donor Shri Jamshedji Jijabhai ,it was reconstructed in the year 1872. There after it has been popularised as Jamshedji Jijabhai High School. In the year 1939 the government has established training college for primary teachers Since then it is known as Sir J.J. Training College.
